The idea for the company began while I was on a walk with my 1 year old daughter.  We walked to the local pond just after we moved to Winnipeg.  The water was foul.  It was dirty, it smelled, and dead rotting fish were tangled up in the reeds.  I was glad my little girl didn't know what she was looking at.   

In conversations with some of my family members we discussed different solutions to the problem.  They told me about chemicals they had tried on their ponds.  They found that these were only temporary solutions.  I wondered about using windmills to circulate and aerate the water.  That's when I found the American Eagle Windmill Pond Aerator.  I called them and they were looking for a distributor, and so I said, "sign me up."
